FNO LA Recap- Part 1

Friday was the day! Fashion's biggest night of the year. The single day created by, hands down, genius at work and editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, to boost the economy and dedicate a day to the consumer, YOU. As a member of Two Point Oh! LA and our partner, Fashion Los Angeles we took The Grove by storm and accomplished every goal we set out to do, Make shoppers love fashion even more. Our stylists showed what was on trend this season for fall and they hit the nail on the head!

Congrats to my fellow stylists/bloggers, Margaret Sche, Kallah Maguire, Kadi Prescott, Reah Norman and Kelsi Smith (host) and for an extraordinary event! This was our first Blogger's Cafe and the talent, smiles and professionalism were over the top!

...to be honest only about two sips of wine hit my stomach all weekend but I feel like my forehead should be stamped with the word, "MACK", it's as if I stepped right in the front of an 18-wheeler. Don't even get me started on what the mirror is showing me right about now, bags and all! Unfortunately they are not labeled Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Regardless of the aftermath, WHAT a night!

I arrived at The Grove around 11am to find Mario "hotness/all I can see when I look at him is a prancing A.C. Slater in a tutu/ did I mention he is gorgeous?/ oh yeah, and became a new dad the very next day" Lopez filming Extra.

Then Reah, Stylist & Editor of Plus Model Magazine, and I start "casually" browsing the shops at The Grove to pull the looks together for the gorgeous, plus size models we had in store for the nights' event. After about an hour, our nonchalant stride turned into a 10K marathon! However, we were confident that our fall style picks from the Gap were exactly what we wanted and once the gals tried them on they were in love too!

Denise Bidot is wearing a black/white tweed mini skirt, brown leather jacket & basic tee in oatmeal, paired with black tights/heels for a sexy night out!

Germaine N. is looking mighty fine while wearing the ruffle shirt dress in new vineyard, black/white tweed fitted vest, grey zip leggings, suede tote in mardi gras gold, paired with model's own brown boots.

Danielle Line is sporting the rocker chic look by wearing the rebels rocker tee, long and lean jean, black knit moto jacket paired with model's own black boots and jewelry, via Reah & I.

Do these models look hot or what?! Fashion comes in all shapes and sizes. The key is to embrace who you are and MAKE IT WORK! All these looks can be found online at the Gap or next time you are indulging in some retail therapy at The Grove head on over to the Gap store!

Also want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to The Grove as well as the Gap for their participation in a wonderful Fashion's Night Out!

What did you do for Fashion's Night Out?
