Working from home has many advantages.  There's no time clock to punch, we don't have to pile on our makeup to impress anyone and we get to stay in our p.j's all day. Score! I like to keep my desk as minimal and organized as possible, to avoid any distraction. Here are a few of my favorite items that will keep you feeling inspired and happy while you're hustlin' away in your home office.

It's officially spring and that means I had yet another excuse to spend three hours in Target this weekend.  I became giddy with excitement, just walking the aisles, like a kid on a sugar high.  It's like disneyland for shopaholics.  I've rounded up my fave items for refreshing your space this spring. BEHIND THE SCENES : MY OFFICE

This is a project I've been working on for a few months now and I'm happy to finally show you the results!  Working from home has many perks, and having a beautiful work space that inspires me has forever changed my creativity and focus.  Most days I shut the door, turn up the music and put in a 10-hour work day, while Lucy (the furry bestie) sleeps and snores way too loud.

MACY'S RWANDA PATH TO PEACE 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!

I love a great product with a good story behind it.  These radiant smiles and gorgeous hand-woven baskets sold on line and in Macy’s stores as part of the Rwanda Path to Peace program.  It’s easy to see them solely as objects of beauty, but it’s hard to imagine the journey the baskets and the women who make them have been on. In fact, each basket represents a journey towards reconciliation.

Living Room Makeover: Target Style

If you are anything like me, you are constantly wanting a new look and maybe you are even moving around the furniture every few months too?  Last weekend I was a domestic goddess.  I redecorated, got crafty and even baked a cake!  I've always worked from home, which comes with pros and cons. The biggest con being that sometimes when I should be working, I'm either playing with the dogs, doing my nails or finishing the dishes. The pro, I get to work from home.  Although I adore my quaint little neighborhood tucked away in Hollywood, my place is a bit small but I make it work for now.
