Ford Warriors in Pink

I'm so in love with the bright, gorgeous pink patterned products Warriors in Pink have this year to benefit breast cancer. 100% of all the proceeds go to the support of breast cancer awareness.

Many years ago my grandfather developed lung cancer. Grandpa was always a healthy man. Walking everywhere, gardening, even jump roping at 80! My grandfather was a warrior in many ways throughout his life and always kept going. He never let his medical condition stop him and fought all the way.  He did have a stubborn streak and unfortunately his bad smoking habits got the best of him and he lost his battle. But even on his bad days he still kept a smile on his face and kept me laughing. Maybe that's where I get it from. The idea that I'm the funniest person on the planet sometimes. ha! But I feel if we stick together in this world and create as much awareness for cancer, then we can beat this ugly disease.

Join the fight and wear your gear. Together we can all be stylish warriors.

{warning: the following video is so inspirational, you might just shed a tear or two}

This October, Ford Warriors in Pink® has launched its first ever produced documentary, “Bang the Drum: Living Out Loud in the Face of Breast Cancer.” The film honors 11 men and women breast cancer survivors who have demonstrated strength and courage in their battle with its “Models of Courage” program. 2012 marks Ford Motor Company’s 18th year of support for the breast cancer cause. In that time, Ford has dedicated more than $115 million to the breast cancer cause.

You too can get involved in this tremendously worthy program! When you buy Ford Warriors in Pink apparel at fordcares.com, 100 percent of the net proceeds go directly to support breast cancer awareness all year long.
To keep connected, be sure to check out Ford Warriors in Pink on Facebook

Neiman Marcus Christmas Book 2012

I know it's only October, but for me it's officially time to think about the holidays when Neiman Marcus rolls out the Christmas book. Oh-my! If their fantasy gifts are a still a bit too pricey for you, then perhaps you can just splurge on this ah-mazing Exclusive Tom Ford Nail Set, or better yet, start your list for Santa.

My new fave fall staple

{dkny hooded empire waist raincoat $109.98}

Even though I fill your eyes full of fashions for fall, sometimes I, myself, slack in the shopping department because I'm a bit too busy. With that being said, looking for fall coats isn't always on my priority list either, but after seeing this adorable coat, I was hooked.  It's perfect for my curves, hiding the 'not-so-flattering' ones and accentuating the good ones! It fits like a glove and I'm in love!  (a poet, who thinks she knows it) If you lack in the curves dept., here is another great style from DKNY.

Inspiration: Chevy Malibu Style

I don't know about you but it's time for me to get a new car.  I love my little Bessie Ketchup, yes I named my little red car, who doesn't? She's getting a little old, with a few wrinkles here and there, so it may be getting close to that time for a new replacement.  After being introduced to the new Chevy Malibu, I think I found my match.  I love the sleek and sophisticated look it has, inside and out. No wonder men love cars and women, we both share those sexy curves.
