The McQueen show lives on

Resort 2011

There has never been a designer quite like Alexander McQueen and I was a bit skeptical if anyone could fill such big shoes. Needless to say, I was positively pleased when I gazed upon such stunning showstoppers.

Sarah Burton, McQueen's Creative Director, should be quite proud. As much as it shocked the entire fashion world, after hearing the tragic news of the late fashion genius, I can't imagine how difficult it must be for his family and loved ones. To create such an exquisite collection at such a heavy time, in my opinion, is quite remarkable. As far as I'm concerned, this divine direction she has so bravely taken will keep my skepticism extinct.
