I don't usually chime in to celebrity news, but I just couldn't let this one pass me by. 

So, I will stand on my soap apple box too and help Kim Kardashian break the internet. 

But as long as there is champagne involved...  

What's the big deal? Really. This shot that Jean-Paul Goude recreated from his famous "Champagne Incident", is pretty ah-mazing. This is a genius photography. This is art. Yes, Kim bares her ass. Whoopdy. Friggin'. Doo.  If you had that waist and were were bountiful in the bootylicious department wouldn't you try to balance a glass of champage on your tooshie? I sure the heck would. Leave Kimye alone. There are plenty of more important things we can be complaining about in this world, but this derriere isn't one of them.

Just As You Are

Seriously, does it look like winter in these pics?  California is the bestest.  Early in December my gal pals and I jumped in the car and headed to Laguna Beach for the afternoon.  It was a gorgeous day with the sun shining bright! It was still a bit chilly so it was the perfect opportunity to show you my new winter coat courtesy of Just As You Are.  It is by far the best coat I've ever owned.  I picked out the Aberdeen style and am more than pleased with it.  You don't just chose your size but you take your measurements and before you know it, your custom fit coat is waiting on your doorstep.  It literally fit like a glove.  If you have curves like I do, trust me, you won't be disappointed!

AQUALILLIES perform with Hot As Sun

Marcolin Eyewear

I've missed you.  For the past 2 months I've been working on some styling & costume projects (posts coming soon!) and attending some fab events.  This one, by far, was my fave!  My dear friend, Sal and I, attended the Marcolin/ Tom Ford Eyewear luncheon, set in the beautiful Hollywood hills.

The afternoon was filled with friends, bloggers and the some of the hardest working stylists in la-la land.  But most important of all we were surrounded by the best eyewear one could ask for.  Tom Ford is a fashion god. I mean, one of my faves!  Can you tell?

Oh Land: My Fashion Crush

It's no surprise (unless you are a new reader) that I love the Danes.  I learned so much while living in Denmark, but most of all I became inspired by the design, lifestyle and of course, the fashion.  This past spring I attended Logo's NewNowNext Awards and fell in love.  It was my first time being introduced to Oh Land, but the minute I heard her sing, I could recognize the accent in a heartbeat.

As the music hit my soul, her style hit my heart.

After watching the following video if you aren't inspired by Oh Land or Danish Fashion...

then you must not have a pulse.

Rachel Zoe Collection: Fall 2011

Last week I attended the launch of Rachel Zoe's Fall Collection at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills.  It was bananas!  Ok, so I never use that word but I felt it was appropriate.  Rachel looked absolutely stunning!  I must say in fact I felt she was glowing.  It was Skyler's first fashion show, so perhaps that was it.

The collection really was beautiful.  The key to being a great stylist isn't just having style and a good sense of fashion, it's knowing how to fit.  You can have the most divine piece but if it sits on you like a sack of potatoes, you're screwed.  Rachel's collection has structure, gorgeous detail and a fab fit!
